Charles-Louis de Maere

Explorer at Exploration Labs

Charles-Louis loves bringing people together and see what happens when they “tune in” together. He has started his journey towards agility (or sense-making) around 2009, and worked in different contexts and companies which provided him with perspectives to make sense of the work we do. He learned Scrum by doing, as a Scrum Master together with his team. They started from the guide and discovered the beauty of Inspect and Adapt.
As a visual facilitator, Charles-Louis loves making the hidden things visible, using pictural language to uncover our understanding of things. Stories are another option for bringing sensitive topics to the surface, and he has recently started to explore this topic through his self-development practice.

10:00 - 12:45

29th of October Day 2 - Workshops

Storytime experiment

Fairy tales are useful and true, because they help us make sense of the world around us. Through this workshop, I will bring the power of storytelling together with group discussions, in order for us to uncover the wisdom hidden behind the text. Throughout the workshop, we will work with understanding and listening to one another, as well as creating a shared meaning and understanding. This can only happen when we let go of our certainty and I do believe that this is what the world currently needs the most.

14:45 - 16:30 Workshop

28th Of October Day 1 - Workshops

Dancing like a facilitator

This practical workshop will give participants specifical ready-to-use facilitation formats they can use for their future workshops. From information gathering to prioritisation to group management, my purpose is to answer the most important topics of the group in the session itself using facilitation skills.
